Readings: Chapters 12 and 13.

I will discuss chapter 12 .  I will cover most of the material 
in chapter 12 during the last part of the semester.
I may present some material from chapters 9 and/or 13.

Do problems 12.35 and the first part of 12.37.  These problems
are on page 468.  Please try to give careful and complete
logical arguments with no gaps.

QUIZ:  We need to have a quiz #3.  We should be able to cover
the reading topics in chapters 9, 10, and 12.  Let's discuss
when to have the quiz.  Since time is short, it might be best
to have the quiz in the time slot reserved for the final exam.
