WORK SCHEDULE FOR CS 3750 -- Spring 2022

You will find weekly reading assignments here that set a pace that will keep you roughly on track to complete all the required reading by the end of the semester.

For best results, both try to stay ahead of my lectures in your reading, and stay ahead of the reading assignments. When you get a quiz, it'll have mostly questions related both to what I've been presenting in class and to recent reading assignments. Some questions may relate only to lecture or only to readings. Before each quiz, I'll tell the class a little more about what to expect.

I will try to synchronize homework assignments with lecture and quizzes. In class or office hours, feel free to ask questions related to the current homework.

I recommend that, as an aid to your study, first read the assigned homework problems for each chapter of the text before you read the chapter. As you read, be mindful to gather all the information you can to use in your answers to the problems.

I'm assigning reading in chapters 1-15. I advise you to keep your text book for further reading and reference. If you finish reading the whole book, I think you'll learn a lot of things that you'll eventually find quite valuable.
