- I posted the assignment for solo program #6. You should try hard
to get started on it before the due date for solo program
#5.
- I will be doing work for the academic senate at the CSU
headquarters in Long Beach on May 9-11. The class will work on
lab #6 under the supervision of Julie Gorman on Wedndesday. On
Friday, you will have a lab day for working on your solo programs.

- Discuss the series of looping programs in the Lab #6 directory. This
should provide some insights on how to write code for lab #6 (the fence
program) and for solo #5 (the brick wall program)
- Discuss possible functional design for solo program #6.
- For a change -- discuss a bottom-up approach first
- Next discuss a top-down approach
- Present an algorithm for converting a series of digits from standard
input into an integer (with error control).
- If time allows discuss some of the character-oriented functions
