Directions for Lab #3
Do Laboratory 1 on pages 139-140 of Shiflet. The file
lab031.cpp is
here.
Do all the steps given in the directions for laboratory 1, with
the following exceptions:
- In step g, don't print the listing and test runs of the
program.
- In step h, make a script file that records all the test
runs. After completing step h, e-mail me a copy of the
finished source file and the (filtered) script.
Refer to
the "Hello World" example
for details on how to make and filter a script file, and on how
to e-mail files to me.
Please use the following subject lines exactly
for the e-mails:
For the source file: CS1500Lab3source
and for the script file: CS1500Lab3script.
Note that there are no spaces in these subject lines. If you
like, you can copy and paste the subject lines right from this
document.
Thanks! Your use of these subject lines will
really be a big help to me when I try to sort through the
perhaps hundred e-mail messages that will be in my electronic
mailbox!
You must complete all steps of the lab on Friday, March 10,
including the e-mailing of the source and script files.
Therefore, spend some time before Friday getting ready. Study
the directions, rehearse, and ask questions.
