Title: Geogebra
Abstract: Geogebra is a free, open-source dynamic mathematics
software joining geometry, algebra and calculus. It can be used as a
teaching and learning tool from Kindergarten to graduate level
mathematics classes. This presentation will show mail features of the
software and how it can be used in the various levels of mathematics
classes.
I am a associate professor of mathematics at the Department of
Mathematics, California State University, Fresno. My PhD is in
Mathematics education and I have a Masters in Mathematics and Masters
in Computer science. Using technology in teaching and learning
mathematics is one of my research interests.
