For those of you who don't like sorting through hordes of threads to
find something, I thought I'd repost this as it's own thread.
Viriatha asked what the bar looked like.  Since it has never truly
been described in detail, I made the attempt.  If anyone knows
something I've missed, feel free to add.

Taken aback, the ogre things about this.

"You know, I don't think anyone truly has given a definitive
description of the Ogre and the Elf.  One reason for this is that this
place is in a constant state of flux.  We're a little close to the
ABML Magical Library so it has sort of a life of it's own and
considerably more room inside than outside."

"Briefly, it's your standard village tavern complete with bar,
fireplace with roasting spit, tables, chairs, chatter, and sawdust on
the floor (when it's not covered with food).  There are two stories, I
believe.  The second floor is mainly tables and sitting nooks for
quiet conversation and drinks.  The first floor has the main bar, more
tables, the hot tubs (and cold tubs, and chocolate tubs
and...well..you get the idea), a fine dining room complete with
orangutan chamber ookestra, kitchen, chapel (for those reflective
moments and the occasional wedding...I am a monk, after all), and
story time corner."

"There are rafters over head since the second floor is more of a loft
type arrangement (think of a barn with a main floor and a hay loft and
you've got the picture).  The rafters are good for our avian and
simian friends who visit occasionally.  I think, now that I ponder
further, there is a dance floor and concert stage somewhere on the
first floor as well."

"There is a cellar downstairs where I keep all the drinks and such.
Out back, there is a stable for those of the equine nature complete
with standard stalls for the standard equines and special loose boxes
for those of the more....sentient type.  Outside the stable is a
workout yard with pells and jousting rings.  Beside the stable is a
landing pad for those of otherworldly origin (such as Scotty) and a
railroad station for when the Renegade clan returns."

"I think that about covers it.  As I mentioned, though, it's always in
a state of flux.  From the outside, it's rather small, but once you go
through the doors, it is HUGE."

Tris, you forgot to mention that outside, just beyond the kitchen
where the Sous-Chef reigns (when I can get there!) is the Safely
Fenced Playground for any and all ABML children (either the children
of ABMLers or the ABMLers who have reverted to childhood for a time)

Right!  I almost forgot about that.  Thanks, Mummy.  Not to mention
that there is also a nursery just recently formed off the main tavern
for the upcoming arrival in May.
