in Assumption, Illinois in the early 1860s. Alfred and Regina left Quebec about 1864
for Assumption, Illinois and then moved to Leelanau County, Michigan in 1870
to join the growing French-Canadian community and to establish their homestead.
Alfred and Regina are Eugene Lamie's parents. Most of the ancestors appearing
in this website are from Quebec, Acadia, and France. |
