This program simulates the surface of a pool of water. It uses a double buffered surface sampling function to simulate the wave-fronts the water. You can drag the mouse around on the screen and create waves in the pool. There are some pretty cool effects that you can create if you play with the settings. My favorite is when you turn off the background, translucency, and look directly down on the surface.
