My partner in XO exploration lucked out and was able to buy a XO computer. We are still patiently waiting for ours to come from OLPC but now we can play!

We are still waiting the arrival of our XO computers. Joan did receive an email that the computers will ship this week. Neither of us is discouraged by the delay; in fact we are hoping that when the computers do get here some of the hardware problems will have been worked out. For instance many XO recipients have had to return their computers to have faulty keyboards replace. I’m spending time reading the OLPC blogs and learning about the software.
Our XO computers ship on Jan. 15, 2008. Another friend is also getting an XO computer. We are looking forward to playing together and learning all the wonderful aspects of these great computers.
